Aabir Mukherjee is a promising musician who is renowned to don several hats. He presently works as the Independent Music Director with reputed music companies like Universal, Venus, HMV, T-Series, Sagarika, and Tips, among others.
After attaining formal training in performing Indian Classical Music, Western Music, Guitar, Harmonium, and Keyboard from notable musicians, Aabir began his career in the film industry by performing as a Guitarist under prolific musicians Bappi Lahiri, Nadeem Shravan, and Rajesh Roshan. He holds a graduation in Guitar from Trinity College London. His expertise lies in music direction and advisory. He has a huge experience in creating and composing music for different languages such as Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Bhojpuri, and other Indian languages.
Aabir’s passion for music and formal training in light classical, folk singing, and playback singing has helped him conceive and compose music in a creative manner. He gained confidence as a playback Ghazal singer by releasing his own GHAZAL album “Ehsaas” which became a hit with the audiences. His charismatic stage presence and amazingly powerful and soulful voice have helped him win a huge fanbase in India and several parts of the world including the UK, Europe, Asia, and Africa. People go gaga over his own compositions and renditions of contemporary ghazals, Sufi music, Bollywood songs, folk songs, classical fusion, and Bengali songs, among others.
